The era of selfishness, avarice, and greed must come to an end. Cruelty, indifference, and a callous disregard for the welfare of others represent anti-human traits that lead only to suffering and destruction for all. Sufficient resources exist for all humanity to live equally free.
Each soul is a unique expression of the creator, with no one being more or less worthy than another. Every life deserves equal access and opportunity to a life of peace, understanding, happiness, connection, and success. Only through collaboration and cooperation can humanity achieve peace, harmony, and prosperity for all.
About the International Order of Aequalis (TM)
To advance a more equal and fair world, on this twenty-ninth day of May in the year of 2025 at 11:11 AM, the International Order of Aequalis (TM) (I.O.A) is hereby founded as a global, all-faith humanitarian order of like-minded initiates committed to the principles of
Equality
Fairness
Understanding
Peace
Harmony
Liberation
Charity
and Justice for all.
Our collective mission is to promote these principles and effect positive change through global solidarity, individual acts of charitable service, and local community collaboration. Through our work to liberate and uplift individuals and families in need, we honor the values of charity, forbearance, and the common good for humanity.
The Order of Aequalis (TM) is established as a private, all-faith humanitarian Order under the Creator and God of Abraham. We invite individuals from all faiths, religions, and spiritual practices to join our global efforts as equals. Only the Creator and prophets possess the exclusive power of truth. We stand apart from and are not affiliated with, nor do we endorse, any specific political movements or religions. We are a voice for equality and fairness for all.
Our Mission
C. S. Mead is the founder of the International Order of Aequalis (TM) and accepts its leadership as the first honorary Friar of Aequalis, adopting the name Brother Justus I, which is derived from the Latin word for justice and fairness. He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology and a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) from universities in Illinois. For over thirty years, he has been involved in secular humanitarian work, providing low-barrier professional mental health services in hospitals, community mental health programs, and schools throughout Illinois. He was ordained with the Universal Life Ministry in 2022 and is currently an LCSW, private practice therapist, and life coach.
Brother Justus's goal is to enlist others as angel investors to help local worthy individuals and families in their own faith, tradition, and community have an equal opportunity to achieve success and contribute their full talent and potential to humanity. The Order seeks volunteer members who are committed to using their intelligence, power, and resources for the benefit of all humankind, fostering a fair, balanced, and equal world for everyone within their own community. Every soul deserves equal access to opportunities for success. Humanity will grow and thrive when we expand opportunities for all who are currently disconnected from equal access to life's joy. At this time, I.O.A. is not a registered legal entity and is unable to conduct official business or accept donations. Incorporation, non-profit status, and further domestic and international project development and mission work are pending the availability of future sustainable funding in the next ten year window.

Anyone from any faith, tradition, or practice can join the Order as an honorary Initiate Member by signing a pledge to help create a fairer and more equal world. Members commit to acting within their faith and community to provide local opportunities that help equalize individuals and families.

Join Our Mission
I.O.A. is a decentralized voluntary mission of individuals and groups working together without formal commitments, memberships, or subscription fees. I.O.A. asks nothing from you but a solemn pledge to try to make at least one other person’s life as good as yours. If you are in need, charity first starts at home.
When joining our mission of equality for all, you will receive a membership certificate and a welcome email from the I.O.A. founder and first Friar of Aequalis. Additionally, you can also be added to our mailing list for future updates.
